Jackson Lampley is going to be a highly coveted recruit in the class of 2019 if he gets even bigger than his already large frame at 6'4" and 299 pounds. His dad is former Tennessee offensive lineman Brad Lampley so the expectation is that he will end up in Knoxville as he lives relatively close in Nashville, but he told 247Sports that he has four other schools at the top of his list as well in Auburn, Duke, LSU and Ole Miss.

He did go in depth about the Vols though and how they were on him early in the recruitment process.
"Two things that really stand out: the family atmosphere and the tradition that they have over there. Historically, they've been a really great team. Also, all the traditions that they have — running through the 'T' and the Vol Walk. I've just been around it my whole life, and I've seen it. It really stands out as a recruit because you just really like that historical aspect of it."
He says not to peg him as a Vol though as his dad grew up a huge Kentucky fan and thinks going somewhere he was a huge fan of would have ruined the experience for him. The Vols did offer the younger Lampley his scholarship back in October and have seen on campus a few times since then.
He's ranked as the No. 11 OT in the country and the No. 5 recruit in the state of Tennessee by 247Sports' own rankings. Right now, he also holds offers from Louisville, Missouri, North Carolina and Vanderbilt as well as a few others.
Here are some of his highlights:
