Apparently a home-state advantage wasn't enough for either Florida or Miami here.
On Wednesday, four-star offensive tackle Kai-Leon Herbert (6-foot-5, 284 pounds, Ft. Lauderdale, FL) disappointed both of the Florida schools, as he instead announced his commitment to Michigan.
Florida had reportedly been in the lead for quite a while for Herbert, but the momentum shifted towards Michigan as Herbert eliminated schools from his recruiting process.

Herbert is a four-star recruit that ranks No. 61 overall in the national recruiting rankings over at Rivals.com. Herbert gives Michigan 18 commitments for the 2017 class, which currently ranks No. 4 in the country by 247Sports.
Looks like Jim Harbaugh just beat Florida again.
