Here's why a decommit should never be treated as a guy that is leaving for good.
Four-star quarterback Braxton Burmeister (6-foot-1, 211 pounds, La Jolla, CA) committed to Arizona back in 2014, but he shocked the Wildcats by announcing his decommitment in March. It looks like the reopening of his recruitment did change his thoughts, though, as Burmeister has now re-committed back to Arizona.
Burmeister committing again means Arizona is up to nine commitments for the 2017 class. That class is currently ranked No. 1 in the Pac-12 by 247Sports.
Burmeister also had offers from Utah, Florida, and UCLA.
