Four-star quarterback Devin Leary (6-foot-2, 185 pounds, Sicklerville, NJ) is staying on the Atlantic coast, but he will still be a far ways away from home.
On Thursday, Leary announced his commitment to N.C. State in a ceremony at his high school.

Leary, a four-star by Scout and a high three-star by the 247Sports Composite, also had offers from Baylor, Iowa, and Maryland. He was named the New Jersey Gatorade Player of the Year in 2016, and he is rated as one of the top pro-passers of the 2018 recruiting class.
Leary is the fifth commitment for N.C. State's 2018 recruiting class. That class is currently ranked in the Top 25 in the nation per 247Sports.
