Four-star running back Adarius Lemons (6-foot-2, 185 pounds, Clearwater, FL) is one of the top backs in the 2017 class, and it appears as if the young recruit already has a Top 5 for his commitment. In an interview with Rivals, Lemons discussed the teams that he likes the most so far.
"My Top 5 that is really standing out to me right now is the University of North Carolina, Ohio State, Auburn, South Carolina, and Tennessee," said Lemons in the interview, clearly showing a preference to schools around the South.
Lemons — ranked as a Top 100 overall recruit by 247Sports as the No. 7 running back — would particularly be a big pickup for either of the Carolina schools. North Carolina has actually gotten off to a hot start in 2017 recruiting, while South Carolina hopes to establish itself under new head coach Will Muschamp.
It looks like Lemons will be patient with his recruitment, as he would like to give all of these schools proper visits before making a decision.
