Four-star running back Asa Martin was originally down to only three schools in his recruitment, but it seems he's let one school into the mix. He spoke to Scout about the schools he's really focusing on, which included his top three of Alabama, Auburn and Florida, but also a surprise school.

"Alabama, Auburn, Florida and Clemson is coming on a little bit," Martin said. "I'm going to visit there Monday. Alabama, Auburn and Florida are still my top three."

The Alabama native does not currently hold an offer from Clemson though, which makes his decision interesting. He also mentioned that Auburn has been recruiting him the longest and took the longest to make him a scholarship offer, but that he has a great relationship with the coaching staff.
He talked about each of the other schools as well giving Florida a geographic nod as he's playing his senior at IMG Academy in the state and of course notes that Alabama churns out championship-caliber teams each year and gets guys to the NFL.
The 6'0", 193-pound Martin is ranked as the No. 12 RB in the class and the top running back in the state of Alabama by Scout. He also holds offers from Baylor, Georgia, Louisville, LSU, Michigan and Ole Miss among others.
