The 5'9", 190-pound all-purpose back from IMG Academy, chose Oklahoma over Clemson, Notre Dame, Georgia, Tennessee and others.
"He has really good vision," IMG coach Kevin Wright said. "Runs well but low to the ground, runs between the tackles but also has the speed to be able to get outside, which is a rare combination anymore, either you're an inside guy or outside guy.
"I think because of his size he's tough to tackle. He's built low to the ground. He makes you miss. You hardly see him take a direct shot but that's because his peripheral vision."
"Great relationship with coaching staff, opportunities to come in and make impact early, top three in the nation in my major," Pledger said of Oklahoma.
Pledger is the No. 2 all-purpose back and No. 6 player from the state of Florida according to 247Sports. He is also the No. 32 overall player in the country.
