Valencia also had offers from Cal, Michigan State, and Oregon, among others.
Valencia is really a late bloomer in the 2017 recruiting class, receiving a bunch of major offers within the last month. Valencia had made three official visits within in the last few weeks, with the decision to pick Washington State coming just after an official visit to TCU.
Washington State now has 20 commitments in their 2017 recruiting class, which currently ranks fifth out of all Pac-12 teams.
