Four-star safety Brandon McKinney spurns USC with this commitment

Big commit for this team!

The No. 1 safety in California has made a commitment, and it isn't to USC, Stanford, Cal, or UCLA. According to Scout.com, four-star recruit Brandon McKinney (6-foot-2, 180 pounds, Orange, CA) has committed to Washington.

Scout says that McKinney was making a visit to Washington this weekend, and that he met with Huskies head coach Chris Petersen just before making his commitment.

McKinney's offers have pretty much all been from the west coast, so it is no surprise that he is staying on that side of the country.
