Four-star safety Brendon Harris recently took an unofficial visit to Florida this past weekend and he was quite impressed. He told 247Sports (subscription) that it "was a very exciting visit, because growing up, that was my favorite team. So, it was just really fun and exciting to see the campus and get to meet the coaching staff."
The Chattanooga, Tenn. native also said that the Gators would be in his top considerations. He named the four other schools he really likes right now with most of them being SEC schools.
"I'm going to say Tennessee, Auburn, Clemson, LSU," Harris said of the other schools in the mix. "I just feel they show the most attention, and I feel like they shoot their players as family. When you go up there, you're in a good community and a good football team."
The 6'2", 185-pound safety is ranked as the No. 11 player at his position and No. 4 player in the state of Tennessee. He also said he would wait until the end of the college football season to make his decision on where to play.
