Four-star WR Al'vonte Woodard 'waiting on' offer from title contender

He might be waiting a while.

Four-star wide receiver Al'Vonte Woodard is planning to release his top ten schools soon, but he's waiting on an offer from one title contender.

"I'm waiting on that Clemson offer," Woodard said. "They have been to the National Championship game in back-to-back years. They like to air it out. They like to throw it deep and have big receivers like myself."

Woodard is from Houston, Texas, but he is looking outside of schools like Texas and Texas A&M.

"Ohio State is really standing out to me," Woodard said. "It doesn't matter which position coach it is, they are going to hit you up every day. I like that. I'm definitely going to visit Ohio State."

Woodard has a visit set up to Texas on Saturday.

At 6'1" andn 193 pounds, Woodard is the No. 17 receiver in the country according to 247Sports. He is also the No. 8 player from the state of Texas and the No. 82 overall player in the country for the Class of 2018.
