He had offers from pretty much every major school in the Midwest, but it looks like one of Illinois's top recruit is feeling lucky, as four-star wide receiver Isaiah Robertson (6-foot-3, 190 pounds, Naperville, IL) announced his commitment to Notre Dame on Friday.
Robertson has some versatility, as he could also be playing defensive back at the next level. Whichever side of the ball he chooses, he has the size and speed to make an impact, which is something that every school could use.
Robertson is the 10th commitment for Notre Dame's growing 2017 recruiting class. The Fighting Irish already have seven four-star recruits under their belt for the recruiting cycle, positioning head coach Brian Kelly and co. in a good spot compared to the rest of the nation.
