Four-star WR Tahj Capehart spurns Alabama, Georgia with this commitment

This team really needed this.

Four-star wide receiver Tahj Capehart (5-foot-10, 178 pounds, Virginia Beach, VA) had a ton of powerhouses in his Top 10, including Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, and Nebraska. However, he won't be going to any of those schools, as he announced his commitment to Virginia Tech on Saturday.

Capehart also had offers from Notre Dame and Ohio State, among others.

While Virginia Tech now has 15 commitments for the 2017, Capehart was a much needed addition. He is now their highest ranked commitment, and according to the 247Sports Composite, he is their only four-star.

The Hokies currently rank 31st in the nation for the 2017 recruiting cycle, good enough for sixth in the ACC.
