Four-star receiver Trey Knox named a top school back in May as he claimed that Ohio State leads for him right now. However, the Murfreesboro, Tenn. native says there are two other schools at the top for him in his recruitment and one of them is the hometown Volunteers. He told 247Sports about his top three —- Ohio State, Florida and Tennessee —- and said that the pull for him to stay home is pretty strong, but the Buckeyes are still leading.
He talked about his relationship and latest visit with Tennessee and it sounds like they could be making a strong push for him:
"I got to see what I would look like in the orange. I look great, I would say," Knox said, smiling. "Just staying at home, it's a real big thing to me, and just playing for the home school. All the fans, they were loving me in the orange and just giving all the support."
The 6'4", 206-pound receiver is ranked as the No. 21 receiver in the class of 2019 and the No. 7 recruit in the state of Tennessee according to 247Sports' own rankings. He also holds offers from Louisville, South Carolina, Auburn, LSU and Ole Miss as well as others.
Here are some of his highlights:
