Per Reddit, the last season that the NFL had back-to-back weeks featuring a tie was also the same year that the Indians last lost the World Series in seven games. What else happened that year? A No. 14 LSU upset the No. 1 team in the nation inside Death Valley.
That year it was Florida that was ranked No. 1, but for the superstitious folks out there, this is a weird set of events that just happened to line up in the past week. The NFL has had ties in back-to-back weeks, the Indians lost Game 7 of the World Series... could LSU pull off another upset of the No. 1 team in the land? We will see.
