Four-star defensive tackle Tahj Rice seems to be looking only near the coasts to go to school. He dropped his top five schools and he's got a few ACC schools mixed in with some Pac-12 powerhouses:
Duke, Virginia Tech and Louisville are all solid schools in the ACC and could be competing for division titles down the road while Oregon and USC are trying to rise to the top of the Pac-12 yet again and Rice could very much help them all get to their goals.
The 6'4", 287-pound is ranked as the No. 10 strong side defensive end according to 247Sports. The site also has him ranked as the No. 2 recruit in Kentucky (he's from Louisville). The crystal ball says there's a two-thirds chance he ends up at Duke with Louisville getting the other third of the predictions. Rice also has offers from Purdue, Cincinnati, Syracuse and N.C. State among others.
