Paul Finebaum is a huge SEC homer —- and went to Tennessee to boot —- and has never shied away from that. However, this year he has been put in his place a few times. There was having to apologize to Oklahoma after predicting Tennessee would win the game against them and he got put in his place for that one.
Then he said the PAC 12 was on an upward trend, but it seems he likes another conference. Or more specifically, doesn't like the SEC nearly as much and that was evidenced in his new playoff predictions.
TCU and Baylor in the playoff? No SEC team? Ohio State down at No. 3? Has Finebaum officially lost his mind? Stay tuned next week to see how he changes his mind and probably have a SEC team in his top four. That's what has to happen, right?
