The University of Colorado football team led by Deion Sanders has gotten off to a slow start during the first two weeks of the 2024 football season, and now in a bizarre incident a hit-and-run suspect has driven his truck onto their field.

In view of what happened, the vehicle went right through the stadium gates, as the police said they started getting calls at around 6:45 pm on Thursday after there were several hit-and-run accidents in the area, that all apparently involved this same pickup truck.
According to the witnesses, that blue pickup was in at least two crashes, while also striking trees and signs, as well as almost hitting a pedestrian before leaving the area.
To note, on the road, cops were able to identify the driver as Karl Haglund from Massachusetts. However, that is when Karl gunned it, and sped off, ending up in the stadium.
The truck then came to a halt at the 40-yard line, as Haglund, who didn't have a shirt on for some reason, found himself in a standoff with the police. Then after negotiating, the cops got the 48-year-old to surrender.

Haglund was booked into the Boulder County jail, and now he faces an array of charges, that include: criminal attempt vehicular assault, reckless endangerment, vehicular eluding, three counts of fleeing the scene of a crash, driving without insurance, failure to obey a traffic control device, obstruction of a peace officer, criminal mischief and trespassing.
No games will take place at Folsom field this weekend, as the University of Colorado football team will head to Fort Collins to face-off with their in-state rivals Colorado St. at 7:30 pm ET, which is coming off of last year's highly contested matchup.
Ultimately, Coach Prime and his players will look to bounce back after a 36-14 loss to Nebraska last week.
