After being hit with multiple Level-1 violations in a new notice of allegations from the NCAA this week, Ole Miss announced that they would be self-imposing a one-year bowl ban as part of the penalties. Of course, the NCAA could still take their own action here, and many are wondering how many of the staffers at Ole Miss will keep their jobs from this fiasco.

The main target, of course, is head football coach Hugh Freeze, with many expecting that Freeze will eventually be relived of his duties at Ole Miss and potentially given a show-cause penalty by the NCAA. However, ESPN's Paul Fineabum doesn't completely think that will be the case, as Finebaum notes that Freeze still has the support of the University.
I'm not saying he's going to survive, because a lot of the pundits don't think he will, but the fact that the Univeristy is so entrenched in that boat with him is very, very interesting.
Ole Miss does have 90 days to respond to the NCAA's new notice of allegations, so penalties handed down by the NCAA are still a ways away from occurring. What happens in those days will be important, as Ole Miss will either further stand with Freeze, or they could potentially try to distance themselves from the head coach, as Freeze could prove to be too toxic to retain.
