Former Miami quarterback Jack Allison announced that he would be transferring, and it looks like he has his options narrowed down to two schools that are a bit unusual.

According to the Bradenton Herald, Allison will transfer to either West Virginia or Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
Yes, you read that correctly.
If Allison goes to West Virginia, he will have to sit out one season and then things could get complicated after that; once Allison is eligible again, he would then have to compete with former Florida quarterback Will Grier, who transferred to the Mountaineers last year.
Going to Mississippi Gulf Coast, however, would let Allison play immediately this year at the JUCO level. He would also be open to transfer to pretty much any school afterwards, assuming he meets the academic requirements.
A decision is expected in about a week.
Allison, a 6-foot-5 quarterback, is a former four-star recruit of the 2016 class. He redshirted last year for the Hurricanes before making the decision to transfer.
