Jack Bech Scores Walk-Off Touchdown And Wins Senior Bowl MVP In Honor Of His Brother, Tiger, Who Passed Away During The New Year’s Day NOLA Terror Attack

During the 2025 Senior Bowl, the American Team defeated the National team 22-19, as TCU wide receiver Jack Bech scored the game-winning touchdown, just one month after his brother, Tiger, passed away in the New Orleans terror attack that took place on New Year's Day.

Notably, Bech wore #18 as a wide receiver at TCU, but made the decision to switch to #7, in honor of his brother Tiger, who was a football standout at Princeton (2017-2019).

"Man, it's simple: My brother has some wings on me," Bech told reporters after the victory. "He gave them to me, and he let that all take place. My Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Tiger. Nothing else but them. They're the reason I did what I did today. I attribute it all to them."

In view of Bech's performance, he had six catches for 68 yards, to go along with the buzzer-beater game-winning TD, which resulted in him receiving a much deserved MVP trophy.

To mention, Jack wasn't the only one who honored Tiger, as every player in the Senior Bowl had a helmet sticker with the #7  on the back, in memory of the former Princeton football star.

In the days leading up to the Senior Bowl, Jack spoke on paying tribute to his older brother, and he certainly did just that with a memorable last game of his college career.

Jack referenced how his on-the-field play was dedicated to his brother, while stating for the rest of his soon-to-be NFL career, his aim is to shine light on Tiger's legacy.

"Just how proud he is of me," Bech said. "All a big brother wants to do in life is see his little brother succeed. He's been my role model my whole life. The person I Iooked up to. The person I wanted to be."

"He was the best big brother I could have ever asked for. My whole goal the rest of my life is just to live his legacy."
