Four-star defensive tackle Jacob Lacey isn’t playing for a college program until 2019, but he’s already working on narrowing down schools on his list. It looks like he officially has cut his 12 offers in half with a recent tweet.

The 6’2″ and 300-pound DT out of Kentucky has Louisville, Clemson, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Michigan and Michigan State on his list. He’s ranked as the No. 8 player at his position and No. 3 recruit in the state according to 247Sports’ own rankings. He also had offers from Kentucky, Penn State, Purdue and Vanderbilt among others.
