Meet Jaheim Oatis, who is in the 8th grade and is already the size of small oak tree. The middle school football player is 6'4 and 286 pounds, and already has offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Alabama. I mean, look at this kid:
How big is he now? He's same the same size as Alabama's current senior defensive end Da'Shawn Hand (6'4, 288 pounds); he's bigger than running back Bo Scarbrough (6'2, 235); and he would probably crush wide receiver Xavian Marks (5'8, 174 pounds) if he ever fell on him.
Big players aren't unusual. Alabama is already recruiting the 6'2, 300 pound Coynis Miller hard. But Miller is a senior in high school. Oatis has a long way to go before he gets to high school prom.
