Five-star OG Jamaree Salyer names the two teams leading in his recruitment

Salyer is the No. 9 overall recruit in the country.

And then there were two.

While speaking with 247Sports, five-star offensive guard Jamaree Salyer (6-foot-4, 342 pounds, Atlanta, Ga.) said that there are two schools that are definitely on top for him right now: Clemson and Georgia.

"I would say it is more of a 50/50 battle. Some days I feel like Georgia leads, some days I feel like Clemson leads. I could wake up tomorrow and feel like Georgia or Clemson lead."

Salyer has previously named Stanford, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Florida as other teams in contention for his recruitment, but it definitely appears that Georgia and Clemson are the two schools that have separated themselves so far.

Salyer is ranked as one of the top players of the 2018 class. 247Sports has him as the No. 9 overall recruit, and the No. 1 offensive guard for the class. 247Sports currently has Georgia as the current favorite for Salyer, but Clemson is really starting to give the Bulldogs a run for their money.
