The second Cook brother has landed in 'Nole Nation. Class of 2019 running back James Cook (5-foot-11, 182 pounds, Miami, Fla.) announced he has verbally committed to Florida State on Friday morning. Cook is probably a name you know — James is the younger brother of Heisman candidate running back Dalvin Cook, who is entering his third season after a 1,691-yard one in 2015 with the 'Noles.

Cook, although he's only a 2019 recruit, will surely give the Florida State coaching some peace of mind having a surely solid running back commit in the class. It obviously doesn't hurt that there are some real family ties there. Cook took to Twitter to make his announcement.

Cook racked up 20 carries for 196 yards as a freshman last season at Miami Central. Cook already has offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Miami and several others. Given that he's created this much buzz as only a high school prospect, his ceiling will only get higher as his high school career moves forward.
