Another piece of NFL history from Super Bowl 51 has gone missing

WELP.

It looks like Tom Brady's game-worn jersey isn't the only missing item from New England's historic comeback win in Super Bowl 51.

James White, who scored the game-winning touchdown against Atlanta in overtime, was on the Dan Patrick Show on Tuesday when he was asked about what he did with the game-ball. White's response?

"Uh... actually, I don't know what I did with it."

Seriously.

White says he got caught up in the moment after the win, and that he lost the football after celebrating. He hopes that the equipment guys kept it somehow, but if not, he at least has the touchdown ball from his first touchdown of the game.

Of course, the game-winner is a little more valuable and it's unfortunate if it truly is lost. I guess White will have to settle for a Super Bowl ring instead.
