Four-star DB Jaycee Horn is making his commitment on July 15, he revealed via his personal Twitter account Friday afternoon.
Not only that, Horn, son of former NFL star wideout Joe Horn, has narrowed his collegiate choices to two schools: Alabama and the South Carolina Gamecocks.
In his Twitter statement, Horn says," I feel like these schools give me the best opportunity of achieving my goals of being a professional football player one day."
Although the Gamecocks have landed in the stud DB's final two, Horn mentions in a piece on SEC Country that he not only grew up an Alabama fan, but that his dad also seems to be pushing him towards committing to Alabama because of much they resemble an NFL team.
Horn ultimately picking the Crimson Tide makes a lot of sense, but it's still impressive that South Carolina has found a way to have a serious shot at reeling in Horn to add to impressive unit under the leadership of head coach Will Muschamp.
It also should be noted that 247sports gives the Gamecocks the edge in their Crystal Ball predictions with 89 percent shot for the Gamecoks and an 11 percent shot for the Crimson Tide.
Horn is the No. 23 CB in the class of 2018 out of Alpharetta, GA.
