Notably, this is where Johnny grew up, as he was a standout at Tivy High School before taking his talents to Texas A&M, becoming a Heisman trophy winner.
Manziel was selected with the No. 22 overall pick by the Cleveland Browns in the 2014 NFL Draft, yet had a short-lived career in the league, appearing in only 14 games.
In a 2023 recent Netflix special, "Untold: Johnny Football," he opened up about his struggle with addiction, as he admitted to taking Oxycontin and cocaine every day since stepping away from football after the 2015 NFL season.
"As much as I loved football, and as much as I was great at it, I think there was something else in high school and college that I got really good at, and that was partying," Manziel said at a 2024 seminar on Alabama's campus. "For me, when things started to go bad in my football life, I turned to that something else I was really good at."
Johnny has since remained sober, yet not the same thing can be said for his mother, who was held on $7,500 bond before being released.
