National Signing Day for the 2019 recruiting class is still a long ways away, but it looks like four teams are already trying to make the strongest impression on five-star defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux.
In an interview with Rivals.com, Thibodeaux (6-foot-5, 235 pounds, Thousand Oaks, Ca.) said that four teams are currently coming after him the hardest: USC, UCLA, LSU, and Texas A&M. Thibodeaux specifically said that USC and UCLA — thanks to location — were pursuing the hardest right now, but that LSU and A&M were not far behind.

Thibodeaux also said in the interview that he plans on taking several visits to other schools as well, including — but not limited to — Alabama, Georgia, and Michigan.
Thibodeaux is rated as the No. 2 overall recruit by the 247Sports Composite, ranking only behind defensive tackle Ishmael Sopsher as of press time. Thibodeaux had previously ranked as the No. 1 recruit before 247's latest updated.
USC and LSU are currently considered the favorites to land Thibodeaux, but a lot can change over the next 18 months when the signing period officially opens.
