Kirk Herbstreit has a new No. 1 team, and it's not Alabama

Whoa!

Kirk Herbstreit had Alabama as his No. 1 team last week. He does not have them in that spot anymore, even after Alabama's 31-24 win at Mississippi State.

Following Week 11 of action, Herbstreit now has Oklahoma ranked as his No. 1 team.

1. Oklahoma
2. Alabama
3. Miami
4. Clemson
5. Wisconsin
6. Auburn

It's a big change, as Herbstreit didn't even have Oklahoma in his Top 4 last week. However, it appears that Herbstreit was extremely impressed with Oklahoma's win over TCU, and Alabama's narrow win over Mississippi State wasn't enough for them to retain that No. 1 spot.

Another big message here is that Herbstreit still has Wisconsin on the outside looking in on the Top 4. While Wisconsin did impress with a 38-14 win over Iowa, it appears that the undefeated record still isn't enough for them to crack into a Playoff spot over a couple of one-loss teams.
