According to Chris Vannini of CoachingSearch.com, Florida Atlantic will hire Alabama graduate assistant Clint Trickett as the tight ends coach at Florida Atlantic. FOX Sports' Bruce Feldman later confirmed the news.

In terms of coaching turnover, Trickett joins Kiffin, Steve Sarkisian, Justin Dickens, Freddie Roach, Doug Belk, Mario Cristobal, and Billy Napier as coaches that have left the Crimson Tide this offseason. Alabama is generally able to overcome losses of talent, but even this will be a challenge for Nick Saban to replace.
