While there weren't any of the marquee Week 1 games this weekend, the ESPN College GameDay guys still got together for a preseason show. They all made their picks for a couple of the huge games next weekend including the Alabama-Florida State game. While most of the panel picked Alabama to take care of business, former FSU player and legend Lee Corso had other ideas.
Corso said that the Seminoles have the athletes to compete with Alabama and should have an edge on defense with some of the stars they have there like Derwin James. While it would technically be an upset as the AP Poll stands —- Alabama is No. 1 while FSU is No. 3 —- many people believe that whichever team loses should still have an opportunity to make it to the College Football Playoff.
