Les Miles is reportedly studying these schools ahead of his next coaching job

Miles was fired earlier this year by LSU.

Les Miles has some changes to make to his coaching philosophy before he gets another head coaching job, and it looks like he is taking a hard look at three schools in particular in hopes of learning a thing or two.

In an interview with Campus Rush, Miles admitted that he had been studying the offenses at Baylor, Tulsa, and Western Michigan, particularly with the idea of "evolving" on the ideas of quarterback use and development.

Miles spends his days in a condo that doubles as a makeshift office three blocks from his old office on campus. He's been studying film, including the dynamic offenses of Baylor, Tulsa and Western Michigan. He's focused on evaluating young coaches and coordinators to help put together his next staff. And Miles will be heading to a handful of NFL facilities the next few weeks to continue gathering strategy and ideas.

Miles was fired by LSU after a 2-2 start to the season, with an ineffective offense being largely to blame. LSU has since averaged over 40 points per game since they fired Miles, and interim coach Ed Orgeron is potentially emerging as a favorite to keep that job.

As for where Miles will end up, it's possible that he could go to the NFL. He could also go to a school like Purdue, which is currently open. Miles' name has also been rumored around the Baylor program, as he could be viewed as a more permanent replacement to Jim Grobe.
