Les Miles may not have been hired in this round of the coaching carousel, but that doesn't mean he still isn't looking to fill a position somewhere.
One popular rumor for Miles is that he may be joining ESPN has a television analyst, a role that might suit him best considering that 63-year old coaches generally don't fly off the shelves at the coaching market. It's a rumor with enough steam that Miles even talked the idea on The Dan Patrick Show, and he didn't leave it off the table as a potential destination.

Despite that, Miles did not say if he had been offered a job by any team or news organization. Miles also said that he "first and foremost" wants to be a coach.
While Miles was passed over in this round of the coaching carousel, he was still reportedly a seriously candidate for the Houston job. However, with the season about to close, Miles may start to consider the television route more and more as he waits out for another head coaching job that is willing to take a risk on him.
Miles is on the job market after being fired by LSU after a 2-2 start to the 2016 season. Miles entered the season on the hot seat after nearly being fired at the end of the 2015 season. The Tigers have since hired Ed Orgeron as Miles' permanent replacement.
