LSU Football Player Arrested After Allegedly Recording Woman During Sex

LSU sophomore cornerback Javien Toviano surrendered to authorities in Baton Rouge, La., after a warrant was issued for his arrest following some troubling allegations.

Authorities say Toviano is accused of having sex with a woman and recording the encounter without the woman's consent.

Per Steve DelVecchio of Larry Brown Sports:

"According to The Times-Picayune, the woman told police she found multiple videos of her and Toviano having sex on Toviano's iPad. The videos were recorded through a clock with a built-in camera that was positioned near a bed.

"The woman told detectives that Toviano had recorded previous sexual encounters and she told him she did not want to be recorded. In an interview with detectives, the 19-year-old Toviano admitted to using the hidden camera to record the two having sex."

LSU released a statement saying that Toviano "has been suspended from all team activities, in accordance with departmental policies."

The school added that it "will not have further comment out of respect for the legal process."

Tovian reportedly admitted to using a hidden camera to record sex with the woman when interviewed by detectives.

Per the Times-Picayune:

"Toviano signed with LSU as a top 100 recruit in the 2023 class from Arlington, Texas. He appeared in every game as a freshman and made three starts over the last five games. He finished his freshman season with 33 tackles and one pass breakup.

"LSU has a competition at both cornerback spots heading into preseason practice. Toviano was in the mix for a key role after spending time at both cornerback and nickel as a freshman."
