The Hurricanes can't stay out of trouble.

Miami has had a tumultuous offseason under first-year coach Mark Richt. Two of the team's top defenders were dismissed for violating NCAA rules and one running back was arrested —- wrongfully so —- for allegedly impersonating an officer and trying to "flirt with a woman."

That's not the end of the bad news for the Hurricanes though as walk-on quarterback Tucker Beirne was arrested in Tavernier in Key Largo early Saturday morning. The Palm Beach Post is reporting that Beirne was arrested on DUI and drug charges in Tavernier early Saturday.

The 19-year old sophomore was driving under the influence and was in possession of cocaine according to police. Beirne was not expected to see playing time, but the former FCS Bryant College player will be in a world of trouble now if the police report is to be believed.
