American Heritage High School (Florida) standout Nesta Silvera just gave one school a huge pickup. While he might only be rated as a three-star recruit right now by 247Sports, but he's an unreal 6'2" and 308 pounds. He had offers from Florida State, Georgia, South Carolina, Syracuse and Mississippi State among others. But here's where he decided to go:

Silvera's high school is right in Miami territory in Fort Lauderdale so he'll be staying pretty close to home. His two favorites were FSU and TCU according to 247 and gave the Hurricanes a verbal commitment less than 24 hours after taking an unofficial visit.
