Massive cafeteria brawl leads to the arrest of 11 college football players

This was insane.

A vicious brawl at the Alcorn State cafeteria on Monday resulted in the arrest of 11 football players, according to the Clarion-Ledger.

The brawl began in the cafeteria but eventually made its way into the parking lot. Multiple students filmed the fight, which included well over a dozen people.

Alcorn State head coach Fred McNair—brother of Hall of Fame QB and former Alcorn State QB Steve McNair—has yet to comment on the fight and arrests.

The school released a statement via ESPN:

"Maintaining a safe and secure campus community is the institution's top priority," Alcorn State said in a statement. "Campus police investigate all instances of student misconduct thoroughly and appropriate disciplinary actions are implemented in accordance with Alcorn's student code of conduct."

Here are the names of the 11 players who were arrested, per the Clarion-Ledger:

Sophomore defensive back Lei'shaun Ealey, sophomore defensive back Deago Sama, freshman defensive back Taurence Wilson, freshman defensive back Javen Morrison, junior defensive back Daniel Franklin, sophomore linebacker Terry Whittington, sophomore linebacker Trae Ferrell, freshman defensive lineman Kwanzi Jackson, sophomore defensive back Quintin Smith, junior defensive end Michael Brooks and junior defensive back Jalen Thomas.

Police are expected to make more arrests in the near future.
