Matt Leinart and Brady Quinn have developed quite the bromance on the set of Fox's Big Noon Kickoff pregame show, and viewers around the nation were once again treated to some first-class hijinks from the pair during their broadcast from Columbus on Saturday.
The former rivals famously showed down under the lights of Notre Dame Stadium 18 years ago, and they couldn't help themselves from making a friendly wager when both were in South Bend for last weekend's broadcast.
After a debating on what the wager should be, the former college legends agreed that whoever's alma mater lost would suffer the humiliation of dressing up as the winning team's mascot. Leinart talked a big game before Notre Dame and USC's matchup last week, but his Trojans couldn't follow through. The Irish thrashed USC 48-20, and this week was Leinart's turn to make good on his wager.

Quinn said last week, "You're gonna be looking like a great leprechaun," and Leinart's Irish mascot gear did not disappoint. He emerged from back stage to cheers and jeers alike from the majority Ohio State fan crowd in Columbus.
"I'm a man of my word, I should be on the cover of Lucky Charms," he said before kicking his feet on the desk and relaxing in his new green garb. Quinn and the rest of the guys on stage ate it up, laughing and calling Leinart a Notre Dame fan.
Fortunately enough for Leinart he wasn't the only former Trojan who ended up donning green in defeat. The Detroit Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown, a former USC wideout, and his pro teammate Julian Okwara, former Notre Dame linebacker, entered into a similar "agreement away from the facility," which resulted in St. Brown rocking the famous green leprechaun costume too.

Notre Dame vs. USC is one of the greatest rivalries in sports, and rivalry wagers and banter like this only add to the lore.
