Matthew McConaughey is one of the University of Texas’ biggest fans and has been a fixture on the sidelines at games before. The Oscar-winning actor may be why the Longhorns were able to pull out a dramatic 50-47 win over Notre Dame in a season opener.

McConaughey, who’s a Texas alum, absolutely fired up the team with a We are Marshall quality speech that ESPN was on hand to capture.

That speech was so good, it may have even fired up Oklahoma players.
