Miami's top defender from last year reportedly has a transfer destination

Looks like he has a new school.

According to Peter Ariz of Canes Insight, former Miami defensive lineman Al-Quadin Muhammad will be transferring to Hampton University of the FCS.

Muhammad was dismissed from the program after allegations that he and linebacker Jermaine Grace were linked to a luxury car rental agency in Miami. The two are alleged to have received impermissible benefits, potentially leaving Miami open to NCAA violations.

Muhammad was one of Miami's top defensive players in 2015, serving as their leading pass rusher. He recorded 8.5 tackles for loss and five sacks in 12 games for the year.
