Michael Irvin Makes Bold Claim About Miami Hurricanes' 2026 Season

If you thought Michael Irvin was done with his viral "belt to ass" celebration, think again. The Miami Hurricanes legend told TMZ Sports he's bringing it back next season: every game, no exceptions.

Irvin became a social media favorite during Miami's playoff run, grabbing his belt and smacking a water cooler after wins like it owed him money. Even after the Hurricanes fell short in the College Football Playoff final, he's not backing down.

In fact, he's doubling down.

"We're going undefeated next year," Irvin said. "So get ready. You're going to see a lot of belt to asses."

That's confidence (ar a warning). And he's not stopping with college football.

Irvin said if the Dallas Cowboys give him a reason, he'll bring the celebration to the NFL ,too. The Hall of Famer recently spent time with new Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer and came away impressed.

He likes the offensive pieces, especially the idea of George Pickens lining up alongside CeeDee Lamb.

"This league is about scoring points," Irvin said. "They can do that."

Fix the defense, he added, and Dallas could be right back in the mix.

Also worth noting, Irvin still looks like he could suit up tomorrow. At 60, he says he's only gained one pound since retiring.

His secret? "Stay purposeful. Stay driven."

And apparently, keep the belt ready. Because if Miami wins, you already know what's coming.
