You know that you are one of the bigger rivalries in college football when you manage to cause a fight in the middle of July.
That's what happened between two couples on Jet Express boat according to 13abc, where an argument over Ohio State and Michigan sparked a fist-fight between two couples. Two of the participants were arrested by police for the alleged assault.
"They were arguing, cursing at each other," says Ben Freeman, a witness from Cincinnati who was in town for a fishing trip. "As the argument went on, the Michigan fan's girlfriend stood up, pulled the hair of the Ohio State's fan's girlfriend ... the wife, actually. He tried to defend his wife by shoving the Michigan fan's girlfriend. The Michigan fan stood up and tried to defend his girlfriend. And after that they mutually started to fist fight and swing on each other. It was crazy."
This fight just goes on to show that there is a such thing as being too passionate about football. To quote one witness from the incident, "That's ridiculous!"
