Michigan State has owned the in-state rivalry with Michigan in recent years but, on Saturday, the Wolverines got the best of the Spartans in a game that felt more like a blowout than the 32-23 final score would indicate. With that in mind, star Michigan cornerback Jourdan Lewis took to Twitter to blast off on the Spartans, as you can see above.

While Lewis since his deleted his initial tweet that featured "I'm not the only one with 2-6 on my chest" as an homage to his own jersey number and Michigan State's current record, it was captured by many on the internet and Lewis followed it up with this tweet explaining the deletion.

Mark Dantonio operated in very odd fashion throughout the game, kicking a field goal down 20 points in the fourth quarter and, later, going for a two-point conversation with a seven-point deficit in the final seconds. As such, Michigan fans are having a lot of fun with the Spartans on this particular day, and while Lewis joined the party, he at least tried to delete the evidence.

It will be another year before these two teams meet on the football field again but this should serve as another reminder that there is no love lost between the two programs.
