Michigan's prized QB commit had a big day in front of a national TV audience

When Jim Harbaugh (finally) elected to use the "Re-Tweet" button for the first time, the subject of that lofty honor was 2017 quarterback commit Dylan McCaffrey. On Saturday, the 6-foot-5, 196-pound signal-caller from Valor Christian (Colo.) put on a show befitting of that big-time pedigree.

McCaffrey wasn't able to lead his team to a victory in front of an ESPN audience, but the loss did not come as a result of poor offensive output. The younger brother of Stanford star Christian McCaffrey completed 18 of his 24 pass attempts for 205 yards and a touchdown and, on the ground, he added 56 yards and a score on 13 attempts.

Here is some visual evidence of his good work, coming from Evan Petzold of SB Nation's Maize 'n Brew:

While everyone knows McCaffrey has a big and talented arm, the athletic quarterback also showed off his legs in an impressive way:

Amusingly, McCaffrey was also able to display his receiving skills as part of a successful trick play:

All in all, it was a fantastic infomercial for the talents of a player that is soon to be arriving on the Michigan campus for 2017 and beyond. Jim Harbaugh and company added another big-time prospect (Brandon Peters) in the 2016 class, giving McCaffrey some real competition, but it will be fun to watch his career unfold in Ann Arbor.
