Thursday was the opening day for FBS college football, but some FCS games took place as well. Naturally, one of those FCS games provided us with one of the best hits of the young football season.
Montana State was playing Ft. Lewis in their opener when linebacker Mac Bignell just lit up the opposing running back with a clean, but terrifying hit.
That poor running back. Luckily for Ft. Lewis, that was just an incompletion and not a fumble; however, they did go on to lose 45-14.
