We've all heard the phrase over the years. I know I certainly did growing up.

The phrase?
"You throw like a girl!"
Well, apparently, Morgan Wrublik, a shot putter/track and field athlete from Illinois State University, took that personally and single-handedly dismantled it.
This past weekend, Wrublik — who competes in the hammer throw, weight throw and shot put — took her hands off the shot put and wielded a football instead to drop some dimes to her brother Nate.

During her three-year stint at Illinois State, Wrublik has finished in second place multiple times and owns a school record with a 55.16-meter hammer throw from May. In addition to her athletic accomplishments, Wrublik has 60,000 followers on TikTok.
She's not the only athlete in her family, though.
While she was throwing to her brother Nate, it was for a good reason. He is a running back recruit from the 2023 class who committed to Monmouth College in Illinois, an FCS program in the Colonial Athletic Association. This school has produced players such as Chris Hogan and Miles Austin.
In high school, Nate had 1,749 yards and 23 touchdowns on 257 carries for Lemont High School in Illinois. At Monmouth, Nate will play some wide receiver.
As seen in the TikTok above, Morgan's throw travels at least 30 yards. And it's racked up more than 20,000 views since she posted it.
Morgan has two years of eligibility left at Illinois State for track and field, but maybe she should transfer to Monmouth to suit up as their quarterback.
