Four-star DE Nana Osafo-Mensah releases a top schools list

That's some serious variety in that list.

Nana Osafo-Mensah, a four-star defensive end prospect, has released his list of 10 likely destinations. He did so on Twitter, and it includes an interesting entry to the potential landing spots.

Notre Dame enters the fold following a recent visit to the school's campus. The other programs that made the cut are Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, and Texas A&M. For the sake of clarity, this new list now eliminates Baylor, Duke, Houston, Michigan State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, TCU, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, and Utah.

Basically, the defensive end went with all the power programs.

It is worth noting that both of his parents went to Stanford, and while that doesn't inherently mean much, it could suggest he's inclined to care about educational opportunities a school has to offer. In turn, plenty of speculation can be made, of the final 10 schools left, Notre Dame enters the fold as one of the favorites in that area.

247Sports has him ranked as the 97th best overall prospect in his class, and the sixth most talented weak side defensive end. He's considered a tremendous pass-rusher who might be able to help a team from day one.

A 6-foot-4, 227-pound wildebeest, Osafo-Mensah is a member of the 2019 recruiting class.
