Suffice to say, Bruins fans aren't going to be happy about where he's going now. On Friday night, Echols announced a new commitment: to USC.
Echols is the No. 4 weak-side defensive end according to Rivals, and he is rated as a Top 100 overall recruit by both Rivals and the 247Sports Composite.

Echols is USC's 13th commitment of the 2017 class. They also got the commitment of four-star offensive tackle Alijah Vera-Tucker on Friday. As of now, USC ranks as the No. 14 class in 2017 by 247Sports, which makes them the No. 1 class in the Pac-12.
