News Has Resurfaced Of USC Quarterback Miller Moss Being Investigated In 2022 After Caught On Video Stealing Roommate's Belongings

Coming off a game-winning performance, defeating No. 13 LSU 27-20, USC junior quarterback Miller Moss has made headlines after it has been revealed that two years ago an investigation was conducted for his wrongdoing in a dispute between him and another student, who he shared a dorm with during his freshman year.

According to a source that told the LA Times, the supposed roommate at the time was former quarterback Mo Hasan, and the matter involving Moss was resolved through USC's student conduct resolution process over two years ago.

Although the school cannot reveal the specifics of the matter, due to legal reasons, during the spring of 2022, University of Southern California school officials were made aware of Moss' actions, where he apparently had been caught rummaging through his roommates' belongings and taking his stuff.

Per a video obtained by TMZ Sports, which seemingly was captured from a hidden camera that showed one week of footage (April 22 and May 3, 2022), Moss was seen stealing stuff on multiple occasions from his roommate's bedroom.

As all of this news is resurfacing, Moss released a statement.

"Two and a half years ago the University conducted an investigation related to a personal dispute between me and a roommate. I fully cooperated and took accountability for my decisions, and the matter was resolved."

He continued, "I regret my actions and have grown and learned from this matter, and my focus is on the season ahead."

In view of Moss' on the field play, now that former USC quarterback Caleb Williams was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, he has been given a chance to shine.

That is to say, after waiting two full seasons behind Williams, the 22-year-old took full advantage of his opportunity to be the new team's signal caller, as he passed for 378 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's game vs. LSU.

Not to mention, this was his second stellar performance in a row, as he previously broke the Holiday Bowl record by throwing six touchdowns in a 42-28 win over Louisville to end last season.

Considering any disciplinary action that might be taken against Moss, the school released a statement.

"If a student has been found responsible and has fulfilled all of the terms of their discipline, the matter is considered closed. In this case, the matter was resolved and settled two-and-a-half years ago."
